When applying hair extensions, three things are always important:
If the above three points are met, hair extensions are absolutely not harmful to your own hair. Have the Invisilocks checked once a month. That is FREE for our customers!. Replace StickTips, Perfect Wefts and Quick & Easy extensions every 6 to 8 weeks to prevent falling out.
In the RANA Studio you can always be 100% sure that a big 10 will be scored on all these points!!
NB! Unfortunately, it may also be the case that extensions cannot be placed or that certain coloring techniques are not possible.
Causes of this include frequent hair loss, medication use, poor quality of your own hair (e.g. due to wrong/too many colours or a permanent) or pregnancy. Our specialists will always be honest about this and make this known to you. We will therefore never dye or place hair extensions if this will not look nice or if there are other valid reasons not to do so.
In the RANA Studio, hair extensions are placed using different systems:

The type of hairpiece that someone needs varies greatly from person to person. It depends on the amount of their own hair that is still present. This is always custom-made and will be discussed and considered per person. Of course, your wishes will always be taken into account.
All orders over €49 will be FREE delivered within Belgium and the Netherlands. For orders up to €49 it is €6.50
You can specify the delivery address yourself, which may be a different address than the billing address. If you would prefer to pick it up and receive help choosing the right extensions and colors, that is of course also possible. You can choose what you want!
For shipments to all other countries within the EU, RANA charges the following costs:
- EU: For shipments to all other countries inside In the EU we charge a fixed rate of €9.95
- WORLD: For shipments to all other countries outside In the EU we charge a fixed rate of €24.95
Our hairpieces are available in different hair fibers including 100% real hair, synthetic hair and Elite Hair. The optimal choice is different for each person.
This is always different per person. The price for a hairpiece depends on the following factors:
- The length, thickness, amount of hair of the hairpiece
- Is the hairpiece ready-made, semi-ready-made or custom-made?
- What hair fibers is the hairpiece made of (Human Hair, Elite Hair, Synthetic)
- …and of course what your wishes are
These different names are often used for the same thing. In the form of partial or complete baldness, it means the same thing. It is a (temporary) solution for a hair problem in the broadest sense of the word.
If you have ordered and paid on the following days (e.g. Bancontact) before 4:00 PM, it will be delivered on the relevant days.
No, you can nicely conceal your own hair under the hairpiece. We can give you all the information about this during a Free Consultation.
Our hair extension specialists have put together a brand palette for you so that you can be sure that we only use the best products for you. The factor top quality has always been the most important here, so that is definitely guaranteed!!
If you are pregnant or have just given birth, it is possible that your hormone balance will cause quite a bit of hair loss. This can also happen due to the use of certain medication (read the package insert for this). If this is the case, we advise against placing extensions. Due to natural hair loss, the extensions will also fall out faster. If you still want extensions, this is of course possible, but it is advisable to discuss this clearly in advance. However, the guarantee will then always be void.
You could swim with a hairpiece made of real hair, but we definitely do not recommend it. The salt and chlorine content will affect the hairpiece. The quality of the hairpiece can deteriorate due to the corroding of salt or chlorine. Sunscreen, body lotions, self-tanners, spray tans, etc. can discolour the hairpiece! Especially in combination with sun, chlorine, salt and/or heat. Due to the chemical reaction, this can even cause green or orange locks.
Our advice is to wear a swimming cap. Then no one will see that you are not wearing a wig and your hairpiece will remain nicely intact. If you wear a swimming cap, it will not even be noticeable that you are temporarily not wearing your wig. If you still want to swim with your hairpiece, rinse it thoroughly immediately afterwards and wash it with the RANA Silky Shampoo and then take care of it with the RANA Majestic Mask or the RANA Conditioner Complex.

If you are going swimming, wear your hair in a braid, this prevents knots. If you are going into the sea or chlorinated water, we advise you not to go under water with your head. The bonds of the extensions can be affected by the salt and chlorine content. This can cause the bonds to separate (white flakes) and crumble (falling out of the extensions). The quality of the hair can also deteriorate due to the corroding of salt or chlorine. Sunscreen, body lotions, self-tanners, spray tans, etc. can discolour the extensions! Especially in combination with sun, chlorine, salt and/or heat. Due to the chemical reaction, this can even cause green or orange locks.
If you still want to go under water, rinse your hair thoroughly immediately afterwards and wash it with the RANA Silky Shampoo and then take care of it with the RANA Majestic Mask or the RANA Conditioner Complex.

Yes, we have many colours in stock and can always put together the perfect colour for you.
If you want to put extensions, you are always welcome at RANA for a FREE and non-binding consultation. We will then look together at what type of hair and color you currently have, the thickness of your own hair and of course what your wishes are. Based on this, the right extensions are selected and the price is determined. This also depends on the length of the extensions and the amount of extensions that are going to be placed.
Yes, this is certainly possible at RANA!! Undamaged and unused products can be returned within 14 days. The following conditions apply:
- You return within the inspection period of 14 days. This approval period starts on the day you receive the product.
- The product is undamaged and in the original, unopened and undamaged packaging.
- Returns are at your own expense and risk. You are therefore liable for the shipment if it is lost or damaged. So always make sure that you send your shipment with sufficient postage and by registered mail. Always ask the transport service (e.g. at the Post Office) for the tracking code. Keep this safe!!
- You must include the packing slip or invoice (copy) with the return shipment.
PLEASE NOTE: if a return does not fully meet all of the above points, it will not be processed. The product will then be returned at the customer's expense.
Products that cannot be returned or exchanged are:
- Consumable products that have already been opened, such as shampoo, conditioner, mask, serum, hair spray.
- Products that we have ordered especially for you.
- Products that have been tailor-made and/or edited especially for you.
- iFlip, iClip, Ponytails and all other hairpieces, etc. (due to hygiene).
If you are unsure whether the product you wish to order can be exchanged afterwards, always contact us first Contact with us. This way you won't be faced with any unpleasant surprises later.
We strongly advise against this because the hairpiece will be damaged much faster by the friction. This will make your hairpiece last much less long. If you do suffer from heat loss or if you feel very insecure without a hairpiece, we advise you to wear a hat.
The 100% Human Hair hairpieces from RANA can in principle be dyed, but we strongly advise against it. The hair has already been color treated and is therefore always (slightly) more porous than your own natural hair. In addition, the hair of the extensions has a different DNA than your own hair, which means that the dye can adhere differently to the hairpiece. If you still want to color it, only have this done by specialized hair workers and certainly do not use bleaching or bleaching. Please note that if you color the hairpiece, the warranty will always expire.
Elite Hair and Synthetic hairpieces CANNOT be colored.
Yes, the hairpieces that are made of Human Hair can be processed with heat. This is possible because it is 100% real hair. Always use professional styling tools, because they damage the hair less. NB: always use a heat protection for the hair.
We recommend using GHD styling tools. We also work with these in our Studio. And that's not without reason! All GHD products are available from us in Antwerp or via the RANA Webshop. NB: The Elite Hair and Synthetic hairpieces are subject to this NOT can be processed with heat.
RANA hair extensions can in principle be dyed, but we strongly advise against it. The hair has already been color treated and is therefore always (slightly) more porous than your own natural hair. The hair of the extensions also has a different DNA than your own hair, which means that the dye can adhere differently to the extensions than to your own hair. If you still want to dye it, then only with a low peroxide content (max. 6% / 10 Vol.) and certainly no bleaching or bleaching. Please note that if you dye the extensions, the warranty will always expire.
It is very important that the extensions are brushed very well on a regular basis. This prevents the hair from tangling and creating knots that cannot be combed out. Brushing can only be done with the extension brush intended for this purpose. Always start from the ends and slowly brush upwards. Also always brush thoroughly before washing the hair.
The Invisilocks are very difficult to put back. This is because the bonding crumbles apart with the removal by the RANA Rapid Remover. This is to remove it properly from your own hair without damaging it (very important!!). As a result, the hair of the Invisilocks will no longer come back together nicely and the same beautiful result can never be achieved again. In short: it is no longer beautiful! So that is why we do not do that.
The StickTips, Perfect Wefts and the Quick & Easy extensions can be reused. These are made to be put back in. This is done every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on how fast your own hair grows.
You can definitely process the extensions with heat. This is possible because it is 100% real hair. Always use professional styling tools, because they damage the hair less. Note: always use a heat protector for the hair.
We recommend the styling tools from GHD to use. We also work with this in our Studio. And that is not without reason!

When canceling an order, the costs of return shipping are at your own expense.
If products have to be ordered especially for you, it is not possible to cancel the order in question if it has already been shipped. Before placing an order, please inquire whether the products you require must be ordered by us.

It is very important to brush the hairpiece very well on a regular basis. This prevents the hair from tangling and creating knots that cannot be combed out. A hairpiece is certainly not always necessary. If you still have enough hair, we can also place extensions for an optimal result. We can look at all of this together in advance. Feel free to come by for a Free Consultation.
A hairpiece (toppiece / partial hairpiece) is possible if the baldness or hair loss is only on top of the head. A complete wig / hairpiece is always possible. Feel free to make an appointment for a Consultation to see what solutions are available for you.
The top of your hair should reach at least below your earlobe to create a nice extension. If your hair is too short, we cannot make a nice transition from your own hair to the lengths of the extensions, which means you will see too much difference.
This is certainly not always necessary. It depends on how thin the hair is, especially on top. Sometimes it is also possible to fill in your own hair nicely with extensions. Do you want to know for sure what we can do for you? Then feel free to make an appointment.
This depends on the amount of extensions that are placed. In addition, the attachment system is also decisive. For example, if we assume a complete extension treatment of 150 pieces with the Invisilocks (wax) system, this takes about 3 hours.
The amount of extensions someone needs varies greatly from person to person. It depends on which system is used and what type of hair you have. This is always custom work and will be discussed and considered per person. Of course, your wishes will always be taken into account.
If you have fine (thin) hair, the amount of extensions needed is significantly less than someone with a full head of hair. This person needs a lot of hair extensions, to keep the difference between their own hair and the length that comes with it the same.
It is really not nice if too few extensions are placed. You can clearly see the transition from your own hair to the extensions. And that is exactly what not the intention. This page contains guidelines on the amount of extensions you need.

On average, everyone's hair grows about 1 cm per month.
Step 1: Send an email to our customer service before you return the package. Please state your name, order number, which product you wish to return and the reason for this.
Step 2: You will receive a confirmation from us containing the returns form.
Step 3: You complete this return form. The more information you provide, the faster we can process your return.
Step 4: Return the sufficiently stamped and well-packed package with a return form
Step 5: As soon as we have received your return shipment, you will receive a confirmation by email.
Step 6A: When exchanging; the new product will be sent to you (or possibly ordered from our factory), provided all conditions are met.
Step 6B: Money back; The amount will be refunded to your bank account within 10 working days, provided all conditions are met.
As an average we can assume a year. This is only if the hairpiece is cared for in the right way and with the right products. We often see that this wearing time is also longer.

Of course!! If you maintain your hair extensions according to our instructions and only use the quality products of the RANA Hair Care series, you have a three-month warranty. If an unexpected problem occurs, we will look into it and (if possible) always look for a suitable solution.
Because we 100% stand behind RANA's top quality, we provide a 3-month warranty!
A number of conditions apply to our warranty:
- We give a 3-month warranty on the quality of RANA Hair Extensions.
- This guarantee only applies if RANA Hair Care products have been used. The use of all other care products voids the warranty. More information about the maintenance of your hair extensions can be found on our website under care advice.
- The warranty only applies to RANA hair extensions. The warranty conditions of the relevant manufacturer apply to all other products and brands.
- Returned hair extensions are always first examined in the factory's laboratory. If this shows that the hair has not been used correctly, has not been maintained correctly and the correct (care) products have not always been used, then this is not covered by the stated warranty.
- Hair extensions that have been dyed or chemically treated are not covered by the warranty.
- Damage due to incorrect use of or incorrect (electrical) equipment will void the warranty.
- We only reimburse the hair extensions, never the work that the hairdresser/customer has had to put the extensions in and out of the hair (if the complaint is justified).
- We only reimburse the hair that is actually returned (if the complaint is justified).
- Only after the products about which the complaint exists have been received by us, checked and examined in the laboratory, will it be reimbursed (if the complaint is justified).
- Shipping costs, etc. will never be reimbursed.
- RANA will never reimburse hair extensions that have not been used correctly or if you are not satisfied with them. If this is the case, you should contact the person who used the extensions.
- The term for this guarantee is 30 days after we have sent the package.
- This guarantee applies to products that do not meet the quality requirements set by RANA. This does not apply to products that you want to exchange, etc
